A Major Loss

It is with great sadness that we regret to inform the ORM community that one of our founding members, Bob Hussey, has passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 84.

Bob became a member of the Central Oklahoma Railfan Club in 1980 and was elected to the original museum board in 1992.  His knowledge of trackwork and leadership led to the reopening of the old MKT main from NE 10th street and NE 50th street for museum operation.  He laid out and constructed the ORM rail yard and station track and served as the the museum Road Master.  The museum would not be what it is today without his many contributions.

This is a tremendous to the museum and all his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all of us at the Oklahoma Railway Museum.
