Passenger Fleet Expands

The Oklahoma Railway Museum has purchased two lightweight passenger cars from Farmrail Corporation in western Oklahoma. Both of these cars were built in the 1950s for Canadian National as 76-seat coaches. They have since received modern electrical and HVAC equipment, installed by Farmrail in the early 2000’s. They were used for excursion services and business cars, and are in excellent condition. The cars will provide much-needed extra capacity for Polar Express events in December. They will also allow our current passenger fleet to be easily pulled out of service for maintenance or repairs when needed. They are expected to arrive at the Museum’s grounds in late spring or summer 2020.
